BitDefender®, an award-winning provider of innovative internet security solutions, today announced its collaboration with appAttach, a company which brings device manufacturers, software vendors and online service providers together,enabling them to find, transact and manage pre-loaded distribution deals over the Internet.By partnering with BitDefender, companies working with appAttach will have access to BitDefender products, making the licensing of products very easy.

Formally known as Rightware Exchange, appAttach allows OEM manufacturers to pre-load products. By teaming up with BitDefender, appAttach will allow tier 2 and 3 businesses to easily pre-install BitDefender OEM products to provide additional revenue and product differentiation. This will also help small manufacturers to compete with larger companies with integrated antivirus products – something that was previously a differentiator between these smaller companies and their competition.

The partnership brings many benefits, as smaller OEMs now have access to pre-loaded antivirus functionality”, said James DePoy, founder and CEO of appAttach. “Pre-installing BitDefender antivirus products will generate revenue and be a way to differentiate their products from the competition.”
